High Level Priorities

Section 6 (1) of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 requires each CPP to develop a Local Outcomes Improvement Plan (LOIP).

Local Outcomes Improvement Plans are the mechanism by which Community Planning Partnerships deliver improved outcomes for their communities. They are based on a clear understanding of local needs and reflect agreed local priorities, as well as the National Performance Framework developed by the Scottish Government.

In East Ayrshire our LOIP is refreshed on a three yearly basis, as part of our Community Plan Review cycle. The current Local Outcomes Improvement Plan 2024-2027 sets out our shared priorities for this three year period, and the key local outcomes that we are working together to improve for the people who live and work in East Ayrshire.

We prepare a formal annual report on the progress of this work in September each year.
